We've reached the middle of the month and we've got some great stories and photos. Share your "Favorite 2014 Airstream Moment" with us. Maybe it was figuring out how to get the fireplace ambiance back when your new refrigerator took the space need for the previous fireplace?

We had a phenomenal 2014 in our Airstream, but few of the hundreds/thousands of pictures had our Airstream in it. So I am offering up our F250 tow vehicle instead... from the top of Mt. Washington in NH.

I posted these late last year after we finished our first couple of weeks on the road. We were very fortunate to find three wonderful spots to organize and learn about our Airstream at our own pace. All three had just enough solitude to feel like we were out there on our own but with neighbors in close enough proximity to ask for advice from more experienced travelers: Virgin River Canyon BLM campground, Snow Canyon State Park, and Quail Creek State Park.

We're getting close to the end of the month, so I thought I'd bump the thread again for this weekend. I'm sure there are a few more "Favorite 2014 Airstream Moments" waiting to be told.

Thanks for all the great posts so far!

I think this might be my favorite 2014 Airstream moment... a chance encounter with a food truck. While in Maine we were driving "downeast" around lunchtime and saw a food truck selling fried clams. As it turns out, I ordered a lobster roll and Karen ordered a fresh swordfish sandwich. After having lunch, which was nothing less than spectacular, I ordered fried clams that I would have later that day for dinner. Booyeah, all I have to say. Let me tell you - if you are on the coast of Maine and see this truck, screech to a stop and order food.

Dry camping, June 2014, at Vedauwoo WY. Watching the sun set on the rock climbers at one of our favorite spots.

The rock face above the front of your beautifully shiney Airstream looks like a T-Rex eating a rock.... OK, so I am well into Happy Hour😉...nice shot though!

Did someone say T-Rex?

This was taken on our way towards Pasadena in December (2014) for the Rose Parade rally.

Feeding wildlife while camping is ultimately harmful to the animals you want to be nice to. Human food is not good for wild animals. It also leads to loss of the natural fear of man resulting in animals foraging for food in residential areas. If that deer is lucky he will be trapped and relocated. First day of hunting season, good chance the deer in the photo will be a hunting trophy.

Hi FaN,

You've apparently fallen off the wagon! (In a spectacular fashion)

Best wishes,
