I'm a volunteer fireman in my town. Some years ago a mountain lion was spotted in town. The fire department was volunteered to drive through town warning the townspeople to stay safe indoors. As we were driving the streets looking in the rear view mirrors you would see the citizenry coming out of their houses with their guns. Lucky for the cat Game & Fish found him before the locals.

Sail on silver girl. Sail on by. Your time has come to shine.

A memorable moment camping at the Ho Hum RV Resort in Carrabelle, Florida in January 2014. Five Airstream friends. We call the picture, "Trailer Trash Dynasty".

And the winner is!

Thank you each for sharing your "Favorite 2014 Airstream Moments". It was clear from the beginning that favorite moments are personal and therefore very diverse. Some posts say, "This is what Airstreaming is all about", others, leave you with an obvious question, and many are inspiring photos and stories or just a moment in time where the light or subject was just right.

To make special honorable mention of many great posts:

This is what Airstreaming is about:
Post #4 by PharmGeek where his wife took the **** and captured a great family memory,
Post #47 by Flying Gypsies camping with dad again for the first time in 40 years,
Post #14 by Paddledipper reminding us of how safe and warm and dry we can be in our small spaces during the rain,
Post #52 by Rollster with a photo that should be a Life is Good T-shirt - not a care in the world,
and Post #20 by aceflys when he reminds us of making cherished close friends.

The obvious question:
Post #41 by Lumatic - How was the pie?
Post #79 by FaN - How do I host a Superbowl party with only one plate?
Post #91 by Florida55 - Will there be a successful reality TV show?
Post #81 by OldVWHunters - How long did it take to get the goo off?

Many inspiring photos:
Post #18 by VTWanderer - Fall foliage in New Hampshire
Post #31 by RangerJay - Ice floats on Lake Superior
Posts #71 and 19 by HiHoAgRV - Vedauwoo rock formations and Wyoming Lake

A moment in time:
Post #60 by Msmoto - a great evening shot
Post #66 by Westcoastas - a night sky full of stars
Post #44 by CharlieM - the balloon festival

And the winner is:

Runner up - Post #21 by eheffa of Naikoon Prov. Park - all three shots are works of art.

Winner and host for the February Photo contest - Post #86 by ghaynes755 with a Wyoming sunset that captures the light at an amazing angle. Truly a moment.

Thank you again for sharing your moments with us and as BoldAdventure says in Post #10, "Here's to more adventures to come," because as aceflys reminded us in Post #20, "it all leads to another great year of living the dream!"

Roy and Marie: Well done - a great contest month - superb summary (and thanks for the mention).

Gary: Congratulations - quite a picture - I had snagged it for my desktop shortly after you posted it - really looking forward to this months theme!

Instead of the Trailer Trash Dynasty, I have heard a suggestion the picture should labeled "The Airsteam Studs"

Roy & Marie, thanks for being a good sport about my submission. I would have enjoyed capturing and submittiing a bona fide 2014 Airstream moment from the road, but the FaN never left the driveway. So, really enjoyed the collective vicarious thrill.

Thanks too, for the excellent summary.

ghaynes' photo from "the magic hour" is amazing.
