I love the t-shirts. I don't remember seeing any with triple-axle Airstreams before. Very nice.

Sure are a lot of them named Mary Kate. Unusual.

Here's one from my files that fits the "Signs - with double meaning" category...not the best or most artistic shot, but it was taken in Maxwell, NM of our first trailer...you guessed it, "Maxwell".

This newbie hasn't had a chance to take the kinds of photos that would suit this month's criteria. This window sticker is the closest thing to a "sign."

Pan Am and Airstream began at the same time; the late 1920s. Sadly, the "World's Most Experienced Airline" went under in 1991.

A Pan Am line mechanic gave me this parking sticker and other memorabilia. Their blue global logo was a cultural icon. Even it no longer adorns those famous Pan Am clippers, I thought it would suit the "Fly at Night."

Be it the highway of the skies or the open highway, the quest for discovery and adventure endures......

Thought this might fit in the category of timeless? Nice layer of mud coating the front of the trailer and the Toyota from our trip to the Yukon. That was also the trip which taught me to wrap the undercarriage propane lines with plastic piping as they were getting pretty beat up with rocks!

Nice photographs, everyone.

Does this count as a sign?

Or is it just a sign that I am disturbed?

Btw, I'm pretty sure they didn't make those plastic Yakima racks in 1965.

Meeting Room

This is my 1956 Overlander just after retrieving it from being stolen. It was gutted and they started painting the inside blue with latex paint. I cleaned most of the junk out but thought the meeting room sign was kind of cute.

Shari, this is really picky and I apologize in advance but apparently the Rockies
were much smaller and greener in 63.

Maybe someday...

Haha I'm just giving you a hard time, it's a great photo and good luck with finding a rack. Your best bet might be to fab one up in a vintage style.

It is timeless and I would certainly say majestic and classic. And you are right and there are so many great photos coming in for the first month of the new year.

Thanks

Another photo that qualifies for two themes. I guess that could mean that you have rescued the Overlander twice. I think it would be cuter to send the sign to the thieves prison cell.
