Congratulations JanetB. Seems to me I had predicted this back in July. I knew it was only a matter of time and submission before one of your excellent photos caught the eye of a judge. Keep up the good work.
Perhaps you could share the details of your photo/technique with all the budding shooters out there?

Question for JanetB: How did you manage to get an eight-pointed moon shot? Our moon doesn't sparkle. Did you use a special filter? Curious minds want to know.

Starry moon

This is the equipment we used for the photo:
Canon5D digital camera with a 24-105 zoom lens @35mm, exposed @ 32sec.@ f/18, ISO 200, on a tripod. The flaring is a result of the long exposure but you could get a similar effect with a filter.
