GoPro Hero

I finally got round to installing a GoPro mount on the front driver's side of our trailer - typically for me, just before delivering it for winterizing and storage.

The new Hero3 takes pretty good images, but the battery life still disappoints. After shooting a timelapse for about 90 minutes, it gave up. Still, here's a slice of today's driving, from Milton, Ontario - our summer storage is a little campground just off the highway- to CanAm in London, Ontario where we store away for the winter.

You'll notice me getting in and out of the car a lot at the beginning, that's because I was trying to figure out why the &*#$)(#% my brakes were working, but the running lights were not. Finally found that a breaker in the car wiring had tripped for some reason. Replaced it, and for the remainder of the trip all was fine.

It was a windy, windy day, but with the Hensley I hardly felt it.

Good work, Andy. I'm off for the storage trip to Can Am tomorrow. The AS is clean inside and out but it'll no doubt rain and become all dirty again...

It was busy at CanAm when I delivered mine - a lot of trailers getting ready for winter.

In the video, towards the end, there are actually two frames where another Airstream is visible. He was towing at pretty high speed, he's in the middle lane. I saw his trailer at CanAm later on, so he must have been in a hurry to get it dropped off.
