Flags flying proudly

The US and Army Flags flying proudly in the wind. May the wind always be at their backs.

As a former Royal Marine, you always hoped to be down wind (wind in your face), and have the sun at your back.........that way they didn't see you, or more importantly, smell you. In Vietnam it was said, the VC could smell a new grunt a mile away if he was up wind, (wind in your back).

Cheers
Tony
