Well - your money went into that one, now that money is going into the Flying Cloud - so I'll let you know if I need more money....

Thanks - btw - it is true that Richard so graciously paid for my restoration - he's a really nice guy, maybe y'all can get him to pay for yours too !

February 2013 Photo Contest - Before and After

Really Before . . . . .

The photo below was taken in 1968 when my Overlander was four years old and I was eight years old. At that time, the Overlander belonged to friends of my family and they often parked on our farm when they visited the area. I am the one leading the pony in the photo . . . . .

Before . . . . .

The photo below was taken just prior to exterior restoration about ten years ago. There were still a few patches of Plasticoat left, but the time had come for the exterior to receive some attention . . . .

After:

The photo below is of the coach following the exterior restoration. I can't take credit of any of the process as I had the experts at P and S Trailer Service in Helena, Ohio restore the exterior. Vintage Trailer Supply was my source for the twin 40-pound Worthington LP Gas cylinders. Ace Fogdall RV in Cedar Falls, Iowa was my source for the Zip Dee Awnings. . . .

I can't say that I have ever regretted spending on my Overlander. With my tendency to be something of a klutz with tools, it has proven to be more cost effective for me to hire someone to do most of the major work.

Kevin

P.S.: P and S Trailer Service also fixed the problem with my WBCCI number when they restored the exterio. I don't cope well with heights and had more or less installed my original set of numbers "blindfolded" which resulted in a backwards 3 as can be seen in the "before" photo. . . .
