Do you have Microsoft Picture Manager? If yes, use it to open the picture. There's an Edit Pictures button at the top of the screen. Click it, and an Edit Picture panel will open on the right side of the screen. Click on Resize. The new panel will let you resize the picture. There are several pre-defined sizes. The Document Large selection will resize the picture small enough to work with the forums. Don't forget to save your changes when you exit.

Hope that helps.

I use Photoscape as my go to editing program, I like the fact it can do batch editing as well. Free BTW.

I was looking in my file and realized i never posted my resolve to the question.
I used my I phone where most of my photos originate.
1. Choose the photo from the phone
2. Send photo to your own email address
3. The phone prompts you for what size to use .
4. Chose size and send
5. From the computer open email download photo to a place you can find using the
forums search.
Most people already know this but there you are. Thanks everyone for the help here!
