Farfel the Wonderdog having camping fun
If Santa is a person so is Farfel.
I don't remember what he found to be fun to roll in.

Having fun at Long Key last week.

We are back in NC. This morning it was 26 degrees. I'm ready to go back to FL.

The winner is…..
Because 'Beauty (or fun) is in the eye of the beholder'
I was happy to see such a variety of fun.
Whether it was a TV pulling an AS, barefoot in the white sands, pot luck dinners, enjoying music, tailgating, watching sunsets, campfires with friends, or just hanging around (upside down).
Not to mention scary yellow ducks, grilling flamingos, or getting dropped on by seagulls. I’m not even going to ask what was going on between Lumaic and Dale.
I have to admit I love seeing kids have fun (as I was one once).
Enjoying a popcycle, catching bubbles, visiting Mickey, fishing, swimming, wearing a Kermit the Frog hat, or even punching their younger brother.
And who can forget our K9 friends (or family members to some). My AirForums name “Tiger” was the name of our 72lb Greshepador. She loved to be on the go. Thanks to all who submitted dog photos. It brought back many great memories.
It was VERY difficult to chose a winner. They were all wonderful entries.
However, who says us older people can’t have fun.
So the winner is…..”the hat game”
Congrats “overlander64”. Bring us into the start of the new year with a good January contest.

I am so humbled by the honor, and pleased that you enjoyed my photo "The Hat Game". This was my first "group experience" while on my first Caravan . . . it created memories that I shall never forget. As the expressions on the participants faces reveal, everyone had a great time regardless of age . . . maybe it is just me, but Airstreams seem to make any generation gaps disappear.
Thank you for the honor and I will be posting the January 2013 Photo Contest very shortly.
Kevin

The Hat Game is based upon Musical Chairs and Simon Says. One of the items that we were asked to bring in our Caravan preparation bag was an unusual/unique hat. We learned the first night of the Caravan that this was our get acquainted activity as a part of The Hat Game. - To get the fun started, the leader makes "Simple Simon" calls . . . To the Left . . . . To the Right . . . . etc.
- The leader then takes one of the hats out of circulation.
- Simple Simon calls continue until the leader calls "HALT"
- The person who is hatless is out and pushes his/her chair out of the circle and those remaining close ranks.
- Repeat the process in step #2 until there is only one hat and two contestants left . . . the person with the hat when the leader calls "HALT" is the winner.
I hope that I am not leavining anything out as I am working from memory. I may still have the directions for the game stored in my Overlander.
Kevin
P.S.: Also while on this Caravan, the prizes for many of our activities were from "White Elephants" that were contributed by each of the participants. I believe that there was a prize for the winner of The Hat Game, but I do remember who won nor what the prize was . . . memories of the fun go on forever. . . . .
