A big thanks goes out to everyone who shared images this month... I feel honored to have been given the pleasure of choosing a theme for August's contest, and now feel the onerous burden of choosing only one image out of so many great submittals. I've really enjoyed the stream of images that you shared, many of them compelling and completely expressive of my 'off the cuff theme;"lost in summer"

This month I'm passing the torch along to Markj55 for his beach panorama shot that was originally submitted early in August and resubmitted at my request because the image link was broken during the technical issues AirForums experienced for over a week this month. I kept gravitating back to it it because it's narrative nature seemed to capture a great moment that most all of us seek in various ways in our Airstream adventures. Congratulations Markj55, and sincere thanks to all!

Thinair this was a great month in the photo contest thread. The photos that were submitted were just fantastic.

The winning photo was absolutely surreal. One of my favorites.
