Nice. Any recommendations on where to stay on Manitoulin? No Provincial Parks IIRC.

There are two nice private parks that we have stayed at. Providence Bay is nice near the lake and has a sandy beach. Batman's is farther North and is on a smaller inlet. You can get sites right near the water there. We prefer Batman's because of that feature.

What do you do when a moose comes to dinner?

Winding River Resort, Grand Lake Colorado. We were sitting inside and then all of a sudden he drank all the juice from the hummingbird feeder. Next, he raided the birdseed.

My wife is leaning out the door with the video cam.

Hi Jack,

We're at Orr's Island Campground, mid-coast, site 43. Site 45 is great as well and just happens to also be occupied by an Airstreamer. Great week!

Weekend Retreat

Just returned from an Airstream rally in the Sierras. Located at over 8000' elevation, Courtright Reservoir was a great camping destination located far away from the commotion of life, and provided some great summer fun. In the same weekend, we went kayaking, fishing, hiking, offroading, cooked steaks on the grill for lunch, ate some freshly caught trout at the potluck dinner, and sat around the campfire and watched the stars.

All in all, a great mini-adventure that justifies all the work put into the trailer.

Coast to coast trip, no calendar, no watch!

We are on day 35 of our coast to coast trip, starting in our home of New Jersey. Of course I have a ton of pictures, but one of the things that made me laugh was a drive thur liquor store that I snapped this quick picture of with my ipad! Most everything else is still on my camera till I get home.
