I'm on it! Been really hectic with work lately. I've got the whole fam around me now. 3 votes each... give us 20 minutes...

3rd place! Nice contrasting use of organics and metal, rugged and smooth, very nice the way the red of the truck echoes the red of the flowers (can you tell I went to art school?)

Brilliant tow vehicle! I like the way the warm colors of the rig and ride work with the warm tones of the background, I can almost taste the dust in my mouth! (art school talk again..)
2nd place!

I can't help but post this one as an honorable mention #2. I could give you my artistic impression of it, but I'd have to charge you $3.99 a minute!
does she baby sit? haha!

Nothing grabs my eye more than a nice B&W (well, other than honorable mention #2, obviously!)... anyway...
nice textures in the sky and airstream, the rough texture of the pic works really well with the clean lines. I like the glowing effect around the trailer, too. It belongs in a catalogue. Good show!
and the winner gets... the opportunity to run the circus next month! (and my undying appreciation for a damn good pic.)
Congrats!

Congratulations to all! JP, you made first-rate picks (though I still think the woman is anorexic)!

Cool! Thanks, A-Merry-Can, for honoring our shot of the Bambi with the ocotillo cactus from City of Rocks state park in NM with 3rd place in the photo contest! And congrats to the other winners and mentions... These photo contests are great fun!

I'm a Wiener!
Thank you! Thank you! With so many fantastic photos, I am honored to be the photo journalist of the month! The wife and I are boondocking in the AS in the middle of nowhere, so we have limited internet. I didn't even realize I won until today. Thanks again!
