Everyone is happy because we are camping at the Taylor River Reservoir as opposed to being home where it's 108!

Another one...
I took several pics to enter this month of the AS on this narrow road we traveled recently that was in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by corn as far as I could see. There were also some weird row patterns in the corn (crop circles??) around the AS. Just as I returned to the truck, this is what I saw, and it got me laughing, so I snapped this shot. The other ones I took, although cool, just don't seem to compare to this one! --dave

That looks just like the frequent condition of our "Truck Route" sign at the entrance to our parking lot. To many drivers take the sign literally and drive right over it.

noted commentator caught in the nearly nude
You all know who this is, heading at high speed to his Airstream just over and behind the red rocks. He must be a little shy, wearing a fur coat in the summer.
Come on folks, let's see a few more of your smiling faces--the real person behind the avatar!

"Twinky" Party
So what do you do when you get your new "twinky" and try to describe to your friends what it's like? Of course....... you have a "twinky party" and invite your friends over for a dinner and tour of your digs!
Here's how we celebrated the acquisition of our "home on wheels"with our close friends.
BTW, the party was at my RV storage facility (I converted an airplane hanger into 13 RV storage bays).................... and a gracious soul brought the edible "twinkies" (nobody ate any)!

Jordan ~
Sure wish we lived closer. I could use an airplane hanger to store the TradeWind and work in. Maybe then I could get a second one.

JordanDMV, the thing about Twinkies as I understand it is that even though you couldn't give them away.... they'll be good when you find someone to eat them....years from now. Looked like a nice turnout. Have any of your friends aquired Aluminitus do to the close contact with you?

Twinkie Party
Jordandvm's Twinkie Party was an obvious sucess and you can tell the description of what a twinkie is like met it's mark. See what I mean, all those in attendance are facing the "main attraction"!!

Canny Banjo Man
Are you really a Banjo man . I have an old J.E. Dallas banjo that I think was made around 1915 or earlier that I'm trying to find more information on. Can you lead me in the right direction?
