RangerJay's Alaska. I like all the layers in this one. You have the trailers in the foreground with the colorful kayaks, then the first dark forested foothill, then the middle pale green foothill and then the massive mountain peaks. Great shot.

Matching Airstreams
Yeah! I have a photo that meets the criteria.
This is a photo taken at our service center and represents the oddest of coincidences. I pulled in to have my AS serviced and lo and behold, another couple pulled in behind me that had a matching AS and tow vehicle.
They had just bought their unit and tow vehicle so talked with me about my experiences airstreaming. They were headed out on their first trip after their service so it was pretty fun to see them pull out and start their adventures...
AS is 23FB and tow vehicle is Toyota Tundra (Salsa Red). My AS is the one on the left...

ASwifey's Kernville, CA Rally. The location of the rally looks phenomenal. I like the arrangement of the trailers, the low angle, and foreground in the shot. The color is almost surreal.

Folks, I've seen this shot before and always loved it. Seriously, this is one of those historical Airstream photos that will be popular 50 years from now. It's up there with the photo you see of Airstreams in front of the Pyramids of Giza and the photo of the Airstreams on railcars like was posted earlier in this thread.
The scale is great. It's far enough back to see everyone, but the altitude was low enough that you can identify the make and model of every single trailer in the photo. Vintage trailers, new trailers, classic motorhomes, classic tow vehicles, it has it all.
Besides that, the aerial perspective of the shot is extremely unique.
This photo deserves far more honor than just the April 2012 Photo Contest Winner. Congratulations Ace.

I'm Blown Away!
I'm blown away that I was picked to be the winner of this month's photo contest. To have my photo compared to other great timeless photos is a real honor. Taking that photo of The Bash is something that I will always remember. It was a breathtaking view coming over the ridge at the Baker's farm and seeing all those people and Airstreams. The friends I have made being a Airstreamer is inspiring me for a theme for next months contest.

I love the Birthday Bash picture too! I agree it will be a historic and revered shot for years to come. Congratulations Ace and all the runners up and all the participants on a great contest.
