April 2008 Photo Contest
Well, I guess it is my job to start the thread. This month, I would like to see some pictures that may require a challenge, but I think it will be fun. This months theme will be "If your Airstream Could Talk, it would tell you a Story!" So, this month, show off where your Airstream has been!

Where our Airstream has been...
Our little 'stream has been up and down most of California... one of the most "interesting" times was driving through San Francisco and avoiding the steep hills....  But we did just fine!  This pic is crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. Not a "great" picture, but, hey, we were there!

"Well, I got these new owners about six months ago .
I took them out for their real first vacation this week, down to St. Joseph State Park FL for Spring break.
When we arrived, the army corp. of engineers was 'nourishing the beach.' Basically a half a dozen caterpillars shifting tons of sand 24/7!
They went beep, beep, beep going back and forth with their diesel clatter stealing any semblance of peace. Oh, throw in a big old dredging pipe blocking access to the beach and there's your cue for potential homicide  The poor souls had to walk miles for a bit of sand sea and surf action.
Anyway I performed almost flawlessly for them. My fantastic fan is a bit sensitive to morning dew and was up and down like a rabbit during mating season. Apart from that I behaved pretty well. Now if my new owners could have done better it would have been perfect.

My previous 23 years tend to be a bit blurry except for the occasional memory of a full timer. Yup, he fixed my engine and running gear pretty good.
See, I only spilled 7 drops after a 450 mile road trip
