April 2006 Photo Contest
If you did not win March, here's another chance to win! The winner of the April contest will get the "sercet" prize from "Inland RV" (Thanks Andy, I loved mine). This could be the hardest contest to date. With spring, there will be lots of camping going on with many chances to get the picture needed to win. So, hook up the Airstream and go take some photos.

AS lights
These are the cheapie lights with the red cars. We also have the ones where the lights show through the AS windows and the quality is nicer and are pretty neat.

My submission
OK, Wheel's entry is pretty awesome, but I wanted to add a picture from our trip over Spring Break to San Antonio. This is taken in Georgetown, Texas (I think that is where we stopped for the night) and my kids are having fun early in the morning. So, give them a wave back!
Also, the moho next to me must have been jealous that he didn't have a cool trailer like mine! He probably couldn't afford it!

Azflycaster here are two great shots that Bradk just posted coincidently today of both the Airstream lights.

Thanks balrgn. We do get some moonshine now and then. But I would love to have the mirror reflections of your beautiful shiny AS!
Bimi thanks and your picture reminds me of a camping experience I had in Ohio. Brand new motorhome owners with electric awnings and every frill imaginable were actually apologetic for having to have a unit that large to carry their family. Now who doesn't want an Airstream!

Rare California Condor...
I took this picture on Route 1 along the Big Sur coast on our recent trip there.
Amazing bird. Not especially attractive unless you're another Condor. But, given the poor ability of these birds to procreate successfully, perhaps they are not even very attractive to others of the species.

photo contest
WOW! I am inspired to get up earlier/ stay up later, and keep my camera ready. Great picts all. Some astonishingly good. Again, glad I don't have to pick the winner.

California condor
I am sure the condor is quite the "dandy" in his circle

Shrinking Condor circle
Sadly, the circle of (live) California Condors is almost gone. There are far more preserved skins and parts of these magnificent birds in museums than there are live ones in the world.

Arizona now has more in the wild California Condors then California does. The Arizona Game and Fish has been working with a recovery program for many years. The Marble Canyon area has become home to any of these fine birds. http://www.gf.state.az.us/w_c/california_condor.shtml
