I have the same trailer that sat for 5 years and if you don't put new axles on it you are going to crack your frame on your trip. The trailer is very low to the ground and the axles are shot.

Ok. In the event you begin to notice on your trip interior rivets are popping out, the sliding door partition over the axles becomes misaligned, the glass mirror next to the stove comes loose or a crack begins to form above the door on the outside of the trailer or the door itself becomes hard to open it would all indicate lack of axle movement. Also if things get tossed around inside. Hopefully none of the above will occur. It's a great trailer and very comfortable.

The original blue stripe I believe is a vinyl strip. My parents (original owners) had the strip removed and painted the aluminum blue. I had it repainted 3 years ago by a certified Airstream repair facility but I don't know what brand of paint they used or the color code. I'll bet the answer is on these forums somewhere though.

We have the same shower curtain! Don't forget to remove the chandelier before hitting the road. I've forgotten a couple of times and have the cracks in the glass to prove it.
