Aerial Photo

I was looking at Microsoft's Live Search today. It's a map and aerial photo internet function like Google Earth. The photo of my area was taken when my trailer was parked at the house. Now I have a nice aerial photo of the 'Silver Pill'.

nice resolution, looks like the commercial guys are getting down to sub-meter details, more like 1-ft details! We'll be watching your pool for over-the-top activities, fer sure.

Thanks for the comments! You can see my neighbors pool as well. Mine looks darker because of the pebble tec finish. I am planning an all airstream cookout and pool party this summer. I will have to set a date early so you can all make the long trip. BTW, it will be 110 degrees when we have the party.

Is the pool big enough?

I'll be there. 110's nothing. Thanks for not having it scheduled when it's 122.

BTW - this MS Live Search thing, is it available on the internet where I can look up my house too or is this a software program?

Zep - The commercial guys can do a lot better than sub meter - even sub-foot resolution but they have to obtain Government approval for it to be released. The clarity and resolution would amaze you. BTW - this looks like arial photography vice satellite IMO. Still a nice shot - great sun angle for the time of day.

With the low humidity compared to here, 110 is like a walk in the park in the fall...

Brad - Go to MSN.com click on maps and directions and you are there. BTW, it will give you 4 different views of the area you are looking at. The wiew to the east is the best to see your trailer.

110? Y'all must be metric down in Arid-zona.

Wouldn't you have trouble with snow in those roof valleys? Any melt would back up and work its way under the shingles & flashing -- use plenty of Vulkem!

All I get is a map and not any actual photos. What gives?

First, I need to be on a PC. Makes all the difference in the world, in this particular case. It'll take alot more than this to pry me away from my three Mac's.
