my trailer title came back as a 1959 without me notifying DMV!!

previous discussion found my trailer was titled as 1958 however it is a may 1959 build - i learned of this from the forum after licensing my trailer and awaiting the new title in mail from DMV.

title arrived today and it is titled as a 1959!! this was all done thru the DMV system as i did not mention anything to them.

very happy as 1959 is my birth year as well as my 1959 porsche 356 that i restored 20 years ago - the 3 of us have a lot in common!!

Oooh, a silver '59 Airstream behind a silver '59 that would be a sight.

Dang physics keeps getting in the way of the best ideas.

Every now and again someone, somewhere gets it right... not here though, seems every time I register a vehicle or change something on the registration it is an exercise in total incompetence. Last go around took 3 trips to the DMV office in the state capitol because they didn't key in the fact the truck was diesel NOT gas.

DMV shouldn't have anything to do with establishing a trailer's 'birth' date. Airstream places that info in your serial number. My '66 Trade Wind is a '66 MODEL, built in Oct. 1965. However, the DMV RECORDS it as a 1965.
