'56 Flying Cloud Ball Size?

Hi,

Simple enough question for this forum. I was wondering what size ball you tow a 56 with. I've been towing mine with a 2 inch ball but I noticed a gap in the tongue locking mechanism (?) so I'm thinking it's the wrong size.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

The original coupler would have been 2", as long as it has not been replaced.

Thanks for the info Bill. I thought it was the right ball but just wanted to be sure.

Hi Mike, You may need something like this. 2" Marvel Coupler Repair Kit.

I'm not sure if your 56 has a Marvel coupler, this is just an example of a repair kit to tighten things up.
