I don't think Airstream started making manuals until the early 70's (I think '72 was the first year but I may be remembering that incorrectly). You can go to the service section of the Airstream site for specifications but that doesn't get into a lot of detail.

Does anyone know where I can find am owners manual for a 1956 Flying Cloud?
John
They don't exist. Owner's Manuals like ones today did not exist prior to about 1964/65. However there is a data base of appliance manuals and such on the WBCCI/Vintage Owners site.

Why are we in this basket...and where are we going
Thanks. We bought our 56 flying cloud at last Springs vintage camper show in Pismo Beach. It is restored in excellent condition. Have spent the summer in decorating in a 50's Hawaiian theme. Going on our first trip with it the end of the month and just trying to get a hand of the systems. Know it does not have a gray water tank and I did pick up a DVD of a 60's owners manual.
