No wonder the search function on the Airforums is less than stellar.
I believe the term is “thread jacking”. While I don’t have 12k posts to my name I do understand etiquette. Maybe tinder is a better forum for the politics, and fishing love-in that has developed here. For those who actually own a Basecamp and have experienced issues, mine is now 30 days at dealer and they’ve discovered the rear door is delaminates has well.

You don't need 12k to enjoy "jacking'😳the threads."
I'm sorry, if bothers you that much...there's always Hockey & Labatts.

Hi

Check out *any* thread here after it gets to the "many pages" point. They all wander *unless* there is participation from the OP that keeps them on track. It's not just true here, it happens on all forums that do not "lock out" threads.

Start a thread on "AS Quality", "Best Hitch", "Best Truck Brand", "Is New or Used best", "Diesel is Best" and you are 100% guaranteed to have a political thread. It is destined to wander no matter what anybody tries to do. It also will be a repeat of a hundred or more threads on the exact same topic over the last two years.

Bob
