We owned the Oliver Legacy Elite II for two years and loved it. Maintenance is a breeze and the quality unparalleled. We moved to Airstream due to size. More so the width than length. If Oliver ever makes a larger trailer we will consider one, but for now they just don't have the comfort for our older bodies.

It really depends on how much time you will spend living in it.

I retired at age 58 and we have spent over half of the last thirteen years traveling and living in campers. VW Camper van, 20' Airstream and a 25' Airstream. The larger they are the more comfortable the living, the smaller they are the easier the travel.

We have purchased a winter home in the Southwest, sold our 25' and looking closely at Airstream Basecamp to travel extensively between winter and summer homes. We had a Scamp trailer as well as several VW Campers over the years. The VW's were great for travel but had no bath, the Scamp looked silly and I never liked living in white plastic with tiny windows.

The Basecamp has the basics in a small, handsome package with the great towing characteristics of an Airstream. We like the broad expanse of wrap-around windows in front. We like the ground clearance for getting off the highway. It's a great seller for them, I expect they will work out the issues.

You could also consider the Nest if you're okay with being an early adopter in early 2018.
