Had the same problem. Called Airstream and they walked me through diagnostics. Ultimately I had to press a reset button located on the heater unit. That corrected the problem.
Hello again..was the rest button hard to locate on the truma? Thanks
Truma: Removed cover on street side of Truma. Tight quarters but was able to detach the snap off cover. The reset button is at the bottom of a recessed hole on the back side of the unit connection..I used a short section of hot glue stick to press the button reset button on the back (my finger was too large & a screwdriver too stiff). Error code (W 45 H) went away and it now heats water. Works great on electricity or gas. I can possibly forward the picture that Airstream provided. Need email
