Hello Looking for a Base Camp '08

Hello all - I would like to introduce myself as a newbie here, but not new to the outdoors. I am interested in the Base Camp as a primary method of transport for all of my outdoor equipment, (We as a family - are mainly tent campers, and we always pull a 14' trailor) - any leads, or info on where to find one would be greatly appreciated. This AirStream seems to suit our need perfectly now. We are in a position to afford a large AirStream, but I know once we buy it the tent camping will be out the window. I dont want anything large enough to be comfortable to live in, just large enough to carry our equipment in style. If there are other solutions out there please let me know as I have not seen anything with the large back doors, as nice as this.

The BC really isn't a cargo trailer, but it might work. jim

The cargo space from airstream's web site - meassured in square footage is more than adequate, as we used less than that now. I mentioned that we pull a 14' trailer, what i didnt mention is that we dont use it all, and it is not a cargo style. - I can fill a 4x8 uhaul from top to bottom completly to capacity. So 32 square feet or 128 cubic feet is what we need on a min basis, any thing more is great.

... and, BTW, I've never seen a site where you can add an Airstream to your cart and proceed to checkout!

Definitely a good price for the model year. Not sure on whether it is legit or not, but probably worth looking into if you are interested in the Basecamp.

Yes thanks anyway on that one... Aparantly this trailer has a different VIN number than original, and was involved in a theft, and was rebuilt - Hence the new VIN plate..

Yes, we're serious. What condition is it in? What, if any, extras did you get with it? I hope a tent? Can you send a whole bunch of photos? What size wheels? How did you use it? And of course, why are you selling??
