Dust coming in the rear door of basecamp

We were driving for more than two hours on a very dusty dirt road in Saskatchewan when we stopped I opened the door and much to my horror the entire inside of the trailer was covered in dusty dirt. What was one colour was now light brown dust.
Has anyone had this problem and do you know of a solution. We don’t have water leaks through the door just this dust which I don’t want to experience again. Took us a couple of hours at the next campsite to make the place livable.

When we received ours there was a leak issue in the back door. The strike plates on the top and bottom are adjustable with two phillips head screws each and after several hours of tweaking and spraying with a garden hose I was able to get it to seal perfectly. I would assume that yours may be out of adjustment and that is allowing the dust to come. When you tow it is like a vacuum behind the trailer so not surprising that dust would get sucked in if the door was loose. One tip I have is that if you adjust the strike plate in to far, when you close the door the top or bottom may not catch. It is a fine line to get it to booth catch the top and bottom when closing it normally and have a good seal.

Good luck!
