Basecamp Decal Placement

The "BIG Red Numbers" are a bit much for the front and rear of a Basecamp. Not really enough room above the window and the Airstream plaque is in the way below the windows. Really wanted to avoid putting them on the windows if at all possible.

Have thought about just making a smaller set? What have you guys done and can you post pics?

Thanks and all the best,

When we first joined WBCCI I read the instructions for mounting the numbers and was intimidated to say the least. I finally installed them as per the instructions on our Sport 16. The boss thought they were too big, but I told her I was following the rules.
When we went to our first few WBCCI events I quickly saw that lots of people do their own thing. Was even beside a Regional VP who has his mounted on plastic.
We ended up trading our 16 for a 22 FB. This time to keep the boss happy I got some 4" red letters and mounted them on corrugated plastic.

Greg - I saw a pic of someone in the forums who got a smaller set of red numbers and put them on his bumper. Also lots of recommendations for putting the full size numbers on lucite or plexiglass and only putting out when at a rally (which wouldn't help for caravans where the big numbers are used to identify caravaners...).

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the responses. I have decided to make some 4" in red. That is an unusual font...
