There are versions that carry two bikes, even a version that is one bike and a car dolly (without the pass-thru tow hitch though - on the dolly version that is)

Then tongue weight becomes a non-issue- no weight on tow vehicle-
Will it handle a Harley touring bike?

The ones shown on the website are the standard builds (and I was told they make them in batches so have standard ones available off-the-shelf). There are lots of videos/photos online (posted by the company) showing non-standard layouts like this,

https://youtu.be/XtoCC5g0y0c

But there are other vendors as well (Mountain Master Truck Equipment)

If you do a little research, these type of tow helpers are very commonly used to assist with hitch weight issues, adding the motorcycle carrier to the helper is the novel part.

Could I then realistically attach a 10,000# 30' Airstream behind with 1,000# tongue weight on that with an 800# bike on it?

I guess that is a question for the vendor .There is plenty of evidence of them being used to pull boats weighing way over 10,000lbs, and even preventing DP RV/motorhome grounding out. It is well within the specs of the unit and what they are built for!

hypergirl -- Since you asked if there was "any Airstream that would work", here is a far out possibility that looks like it could carry your two bikes plus absorb all of the creativity you might muster!

There's a video on YouTube of a 70's Airstream turned into a car hauler.
Check it out.
