Posted this other places, but received letter from AS extending BC warranty another 12 months, for units up to March 9th.
Woohoo !
This is cool and makes me feel some better, less frustrated.
Can't wait to get her back.
Leaving for NM September

I responded in other placed too, but I also got the letter today extending my BC warranty another 12 months. I paid for a 10 year extended warranty, so I guess I'm covered for 13 years now :-)

Basecamp update

Finally got all issues fixed with our basecamp--axle, rear door leak, fridge. It took 7 weeks to get it back but I'm just glad everything is right now. The fridge takes 12 hours or so to get really cold but once there, it stays cold. Tents work but not worth the money to me. Now I'm ready to sell it and move up in size!

Hi Jazgrass,

Thank you for being a Basecamp customer! We're happy to see you received the warranty extension letter. Just a quick clarification on it: We're extending the comprehensive parts and labor factory warranty by an additional
twelve months for all 2017 model year Basecamps, not just ones made before March 9.

We look forward to seeing you out and about on the road and hope you enjoy your trip to NM.

Do you know what they did to your refrigerator? There was a service bulletin because they leaked. Did they do that repair, or did they also address it not cooling sufficiently?

I called AS while she was in and talked with them about the new frig stuff. Our service department (awesome) had already routed my hose, but they went ahead and did the groove and the fans, so we will see how effective after my NM trip. If this doesn't get it... will just keep after it what ever the fix is. My March trip had no frig issues. But it was still cool at night /day as I rarely used the AC,. The NM trip has lots of stops with no hook- ups cause thats what I liked about the BC.

Call Wayne at Chilhowee RV in Louisville, TN. He is the service manager and they did more than just what the service bulletin said. They even passed their fix on to AS so they could use it to help other dealers fix fridge issues

Awesome. :-) Keep us posted on how well Wayne's fix helps. Other's have had fixes that worked for a while, then failed :-(
