20% is reasonable once the newness wears off a little. Start shopping in the fall to get you a little more. Try Andy Thomson @ canamrv. They say that you buy your second Airstream from canam because you learned what to do on your first one.

I plan to place my order with them this fall.

My sales rep at Haydocy in Columbus, Ohio told me that he has more room to discount a 16 foot Bambi than the Basecamp. Of course that was before all of the problems began surfacing. Not sure what impact if any that will have on pricing and discounting.

I just hope that airstream gets this figured out and does whatever reengineering is necessary to make this a safe and successful product. I also hope that they change the design if necessary and do not go for quick and kludged up fixes. If the wheel wells need to be redesigned, redesign them, if there are design flaws that cause leaks, fix them.

Stop the manufacturing and sales until the problems are fixed and crush the existing inventory if need be etc.

They gave me zip, zero, nadda off MSRP .... price was actually more than what I was shown before it arrived, by about $1,000.
