most solutions WILL BE temporary.
imagine an older car (prior to clearcoating) with paint that is gradually oxidizing away.
THAT is what we have to deal with here.
so wash it occasionally, remove the residue and wax/seal the top panel.
then REPEAT this process 1-2 time per year,
LESS if stored under cover.
TO PREVENT the oxidation of the alcoa TOP paint, one would need to COVER it with something...
CLEARCOAT for example, more paint or one of the better ROOF coatings...

and while U R UP there inspect and tend to the sealants used for the many HOLES...
