White deposits

What is the safest way to remove white deposits on tail lights and body?

It's called filoform corrosion - aluminum rust.

Many many threads. Remove taillights - strip and polish again. On the body treat every little outbreak - it gets bigger if you don't. 309 Aircraft protectant ... and there's one other I can't remember offhand.

Do a search for filoform or corrosion
