WD-40....will it harm the finish?

I've got some old adhesive gunk stuck on the outside of the trailer. Plus, there's also 2 sets of "half-there, half not there" wbcci numbers...can't tell what either of them might have been. anyway, I want to get them off...wd is good for disolving adhesive, but I don't want to damage the finish on the skin.

I always recommend 3M adhesive remover. Available at many auto parts stores. It is the same product used by car dealers to remove the dealer stickers they like to afix to your car and truck paint. It is clearcoat safe.

Citrus products are not recommended for aluminum surfaces.
