Vintage TV Antenna

I have a 66 Globe Trotter and trying to find an original TV antenna. Anyone know the years of Airstreams that used the same antenna. Any idea where I could find one?

I looked and looked for an antenna that would look original . I ordered this antenna from Amazon. It works great and looks "period". It folds up into a very compact package. It does has to be clamped on to the mast at each campsite but it takes only a minute. Reception is very good. Finally, it was cheap.

Back then, antennas were a dealer installed item, nothing standard.

ps: you can download a manual here

We have one that we took off our 66. It was mounted to the right (roadside)of the front window.

Mine on my 67 was mounted to the roof with a crank inside the trailer on the ceiling.
It looks like a pair of rabbit ears when it's up. It was cool looking when it was up but I removed it to avoid any more leaks.

You can't have ours! I love going into a campground and putting it up -- just to see the looks on younger people's faces!

Ours has a mount on the front, driver's side with swivel from inside the rig. The antenna itself comes out, folds up, and stores inside the rig.

Oh, and it pulls in channels just as well as the "digital" antenna that we bought to improve performance.

Would you take pictures of it and mail them to floridalarry@me.com? Just want to make sure it fits on a 66' Globe Trotter. Thanks.
