Vintage Airstream "A" emblem beside Front door

Morning all.
Wondering if anyone knows where to track down the "A" emblem beside the front door on the vintage Airstreams.
Ours's is in pretty rough shape! Thanks in advance!

Hmmm...I'm not sure that is an original item. Can you post a zoomed out picture to put in in context?

Iíve never seen anything like that. There is a dark irony in that the quote around the tattered circle seems to say ďAnother Quality Product from the World of AirstreamĒ ...

At any rate - can you take a pic from further out for context? Iím wondering if someone used it (maybe it was an acrylic paperweight?) instead of a sheet of aluminum to cover a ding or something?

The orange "A's" were on Airstreams when Airstream was owned by Beatrice Foods. I doubt that you will see them on Airstreams manufactured after 1980.

Cheers, John

Thanks everyone, interesting, I have seen them on most Airstreams in the 70's, but have not seen them on places like VTS or ODMRV. I guess I'll leave as is at it will add to the vintage look of the AS.

Huh. Interesting, goes to show, you learn something new every day. As many vintage airstreams I've been around, I've never seen (or noticed?) these. Thanks!

The irony of "Another quality product" during the Beatrice years does not escape me.

That emblem is adjacent to the door on our older (1971) Argosy Minuet I'm currently restoring. It's not in great shape either! I have no idea if there is a source for a reproduction of these...I've never heard of one. If you find one let us know!

I think these were used from about 1975 thru 1978 or 1979 give or take. I think these badges or something similar may have also been used on Argosy's of that era.

I did not know of any reproductions and have never seen a used one for sale.

My 77 Argosy has one. I assumed it was and Argosy badge to affirm the Airstream lineage.
