Truck wash OK for finish??

I had a friend tell me she runs her box trailer through a truck wash where they use a light acid to wash the trailer. She says it does wonders for her trailer. I am hesitant to take my AS through, think it's OK???

No way would I do that. That wash will be too caustic for an Airstream to chance it.

2X...stay away.

Buy one of these, makes washing the Stream a lot easier. Stay away from the similar brush style...they scratch the clear.

Thanks for all the info! I replaced my max-fans and A/C, and put a tarp on with duct tape for a week to keep water out, and have to get the "sticky" off, this seemed like the fast way, but as with many things, the easy way is not the good way! I'll get the ladder and the scrub brush!

It wont help with this time but for next time use the easy way instead of duct tape use the heavy 3M packing tape, holds about as good as duct tape without the sticky mess.
