Trident - Clear Coat Sealant
Hi Air Forums,
We just bit the bullet and bought a new Flying Cloud to replace our older Safari. One of dealer offered options was to have the exterior sealed with a product called Trident, plus stain seal on the interior.
Have any of you done this? is it worth it. The dealer is asking $2000 for a 25' trailer.
Feel free to respond off line if you wish. sparsons at canby dot com.
Thanks,
Steve

this recent thread may be useful to you - $1200 Aircraft Sealant on New AS?
iiwm, I'd simply politely decline the dealer offer and move on with a Plan "B" for much less money. using Walbernize, or, even better it would seem, Griot's products makes much more sense to me!

check plexus product
I emailed them about the use on acrylic AS exteriors. This was developed for airplane industy. I applied mine with scratch free microfiber. On and off real quick adds a wax. I have a feeling they will recommend it, also the best product for new plastics like rock shields. $25 a can found Harley dealerships, marine stores think West Marine was asking $29

Welcome Aboard....
Steve,
IMHO....don't fall for it.
There are much better DIY options.
This has worked very well since we got the Classic.
Plus the time you spend on exterior maint helps keep an eye on concerns you may not notice otherwise.

Thanks all... Your replies are much like those from my boating group (CBrats). Lot's of overlap in membership, and lots in common.
Regards,
Steve

Keep it clean....
Steve,
Consider one of these....makes it very easy to wash the AS, absolutely NO scratches. Their Car Wash soap works great too.
