Tree lands on camper

Hi I'm located in Minneapolis Minnesota and a tree managed to land directly on my 2006 airstream Quicksilver Bambi camper. looks like from some of the pictures that the damages the roof the front and the right door panel.
Historically, I've gone to Ohio to have things done to it.
Does anyone know if there's anything closer? Also anybody have a feeling on how much this damage could cost? It was very large tree I would imagine there's internal damage also.
I haven't been able to inspect it yet.

I'm no insurance adjuster, not even remotely able to give any "professional" estimate, let alone advice.

But that looks bad.....like, totaled bad.

Good luck.

Also not an expert here, but, to these eyes, the cost of repairs would probably far exceed the fair market value of your 2006 16' Airstream IMO, I am sorry to say.

Have to agree. Call your insurance agent/carrier to be sure but that looks like a total loss. So sorry.

Get comparable sold for prices on other 2006 quicksilver models. Or as close a match as you can find. They will replace a 2006, but not.with a bigger or significantly newer model. They moved up significantly on mine from "NADA Blue Book says" to my challenge... "buy me one for that" when I had comps. Rvtrader and forum classifieds are a good place to start.
Hope they dont delay long.

And if you use the money to step up to a 23 or whatever, it will all be good.

Send your photos directly to Airstream and they will give you estimate to repair which will be very close to your insurance adjuster’s estimate.

Ouch!!!

I would talk to the service manager at Lazy Days in Anoka. We stopped in Tucson this past Tuesday and got an opinion on a service issue from them. Very helpful. It could also be trailered to the Mothership. Those guys do amazing work.

Wondering if you have inspected the trailer, or had any feedback on repairing it?

Thanks,

Peter

I had a tree episode trying to get into a camping spot with my 2013 Bambi no internal damage but needed a new right front panel, left front window and new rock guard for the window a large airstream dealer in near Seattle did it airstream adventures wa. I had them fix a cosmetically dented rear rotor ER roof panel as well
8500$. The key was no internal damage. I think yours is totaled. I hope you have good insurance I did not ouch ! Oh and airstream adventures did an excellent job not cheaply of course

Ouch! So sorry. Thanks for sharing your exerience. Mine is stored next to a birch tree under a car port, which does provide nice shade and I do hire arborist to clean it up regularly. I was undecided if I should spend the extra $1K a month to get the insurance for my Flying_Cloud but now you've convinced me.

Another resource is property insurance. Was the AS on your property or were you camping? If your property, would not hurt to also run it by both.

Thanks everyone for your input. It's quite bad and interior damage too. Will submit pics to Ohio and see what they say. Hopefully the insurance company and I agree on it's value.
