Tree Damage!

Just purchased a 1962 Overlander to gut out and rebuild. Storm knocked a tree down and damaged the roof.

Can the end panels be repaired with paintless dent removal and rollers?

The interior is being gutted, so there will be plenty of access.

Looks pretty severe to me. I think you will need to take out the interior skin and replace the affected ribs. Probably put on new end segements. Might depend on how many wrinkles you can accept.
Second look it looks worse than I thought. Ribs, segments, roof panels a and probably interior skin on top half. I tried pushing a small limb drop out and it did not do well at all.

That damage looks way past what you are asking. I would expect a large amount of interior and hidden damage. Meaning $$$$$$$.

OUCH!!!
I think all of us vintage owners deal with a few wrinkles and dents -it will be up to you if you are ok with the end result. PM us if you need help, we're close.

Thanks all.
I'm not too concerned with the ribs. I have done a lot of metal framing with custom radius work. I believe the aluminum ribs can be fabricated by a few different metal shops in my area.

I'm more concerned about the stretch formed panels on the end. Anyone have experience with them?
I was planning on replacing the vent that was damaged also.

Is the rear window ok? That will be the hardest item to replace I believe.
