Hi Mic,

Just a straight bolt on. No trimming or mods to the AS required. I did seal around the perimeter with Parbond.

Ahh.... you are direct replacement. I will be retro fitting to my '76 which has the terrible water fill.... I'm guessing it just takes a little trimming to accept the newer, larger size.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Mic

Winter weather has hit here ... will wait until it warms or spring hits to install our SS WD.

I need to look into some SS upgrades....right now (IMO), the look of the stove vent is the worst offender followed by the water heater. Is there a preferred third party reseller that is (more) reasonably priced or just straight from AS?

If you are ditching the original tip-back door, you might consider offering it up for parts to someone. These can be rebuilt with fiberglass if cracked and are awesome for bucket filling when boondocking.... It took me months to find one when I was looking.
