single main door hinge for '67 Overlander

The door hinge on my 67 airstream overlander is damaged. Possibly it could be straightened and made usable - once the pin is removed - but was wondering if anyone knows where I could find a replacement.

Also any advice on riveting the hinge back on to the door and body.

thanks

bob

The hinge has been gone for almost 40 years.

But, a replacement pin, is available.

Give Airstream Supply in Seattle a call, he parts out old trailers and I'll bet he has that hinge available 877-686-7331

Thanks to all of you for your responses. I got a replacement hinge from "out of doors mart" in north carolina. It was not the original hinge for that year - perhaps a latter model but I was able to make it work. It looked stronger than the original hinge and had 1/4" bolts instead of 1/8" rivets for attaching to body and door. All of the original rivets had snapped off my hinge and were replaced by 2 sheet metal screws when I got the trailer. Not surprisingly - the door fell off.

Thanks again,

bob

Bob, that hinge was off a '68. Same body, same door, but the factory found an issue with the hinge, and corrected it. That's why the hinge you got was a bolt-on, rather than riveted.
