Rub rail insert popping out a little in one spot...

hello all,
the rub rail insert's sticky black backing appears not be fully adhering in one 4"-6" segment.
are there any tricks to get this re-stuck?
thanks!

Rub rail insert.

Hi, I would clean both surfaces and use a new piece of 3M two sided mounting/moulding tape on it.

Bob's got it.

Get as much of the old tape off as you can and clean both surfaces good, I think most have delt with the problem at some time. 3m does make some super sticky tape, get the industrial strength stuff.
