In reading the alodine applications specs, it talks of keeping the area wet. Did you do a small area at a time or does the material not evaporate that quickly?
thanks

You will want to protect any aluminum that you don't want prep or Alodine on. It is just precaution, but necessary insurance, I used plastic sheeting on both end caps, taping off a foot past my awning gutters, the sides were unprotected but working carefully I was able to avoid spills. Applying product, I used a spray bottle and was able to apply both in that fashion. Both used very little product with this technique. After spraying on Alumiprep take a rag and even solution out over the area your working with. I did work in sections with both, at 95% humidity in Georgia I didn't have to worry to much about the solutions drying out before rise. If your concerns are that it will dry, then I recommend treatment followed by a wet towel or blankets to prevent it from drying before final pressure rise. The Alodine will want to pool up more and run off, you can prevent this by using a cut up sheet soaked with Alodine and applied to the area your working on. If you need either product I have plenty left over, just PM me.
