Polishing 1973 31'

Hi. I am about to start polishing a 1973 31' Land Yacht but, of course, don't want to spend a lot of money on polishing equipment. Has anyone out there used the 7" angle grinder and 6" polisher from Harbor Freight tools?

You used both of those Harbor Freight tools? Ate those the right one? The 6 and 7? Where did you get the pads?

Thanks!!

There is a thread on the forums on Harbor Freight Polishers. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f441...ers-87845.html

For the other stuff you need, check out the "Slow Floor Replacement" thread by Toastie. Post 856

if you use Removall to strip it you can hose it off on your ground with no ill effects. I found a half tub or so did my whole 31' trailers. Well worth not having the caustic stuff on you and your grounds.
