Ouch! That hurt!

They told me on the phone it was minor and could be pushed out easily!

What do you think it will cost to fix it?

It is not mine.

That ain't minor! 3 panels about $4,500 minimum to replace with new?

Jack is right, you have at least 3 panels to replace and $4500 is a good starting point. You could try to punch them out from the inside, but frankly, it will most likely not be anywhere close to smooth. It's not so much parts, it's labor to get the panels off and new ones in properly. One person here just had it done under warranty and they tore the inside front out to get to the outer skin so it could be resealed properly after it was replaced.

Richart,
As some one who works with metals on a regular basis....that is going to take more than just "pushing" it out from the inside...the metal has stretched and will never go back to it's orginal place. From what I have heard and read the $4500 estimate is in the ball park...about 90% of what the trailer is probably worth??

Could be a perfect candidate for the changeling process...pull them out best you can then fill her with body fill - paint her two tone beige and sell her as an Argosy!

You'd buy the panels from Airstream or through an Airstream dealer I would suspect....

I saw a repair done to a 345 with the same damaged area. They had used many more pieces to make the curved area for the repair work, it didn't really.
Funny how some think this is "minor" damage.

Check with Colaws in MO. They and others have wrecked AS in inventory that might have the parts required.
