You MAY want to look into trademark issues before you sell them...

Fantastic

This is great. What a great way to appreciate what is Airstream. Very nice indeed!

I've wanted to make my own (not from bronze), but have hesitated due to potential copyright infringement issues.

Let us know what they say, please.

Well I got mine! It's beautiful (and heavy). I'll need to file out the holes in the letters a little (casting schmutz) but the letters are polished up and it's as advertised. Now I need to decide where to mount it and how. The soccer ball is for scale. Click image for larger version

Hey Shiny, What's the Bronze composition? I did a lookup and didn't know that there were so many formulations, Aluminum Bronze, Tin Bronze, Silicon Bronze. Sheesh! The reason I ask is to understand how much I need to worry about corrosion if I mount this to the coach.

Got my pair two days ago. The first one will be mounted in the Classic on the wall beside the stove between the custom stainless steel side splash and the exhaust fan. Really like the look and finish. A job well done.

They will all cause corrosion if in direct contact with the aluminum. If mounting to your trailer then I would suggest coating the rear with a few coats urethane clear coat from your auto store. I use a mixture of materials primarily silicone bronze but we do mix this with C23000 for color. so essentially you will have about 85 to 90% copper then some zinc silica trace amounts of iron lead and manganese.

Thanks Much! I have some time to decide where to mount it. It's beautiful! It's the "s" that sealed the deal for me. I like the art deco style.

Have installed our first one in our 2014 31' Classic above the magnetic stainless steel stove side splash.
