New Level Master for front
1975 Overlander, level under the front window is too foggy to see. I bought a replacement, "Master Level". Just wondering the best way to install, I know I get the trailer perfectly level, then install the new level so it shows perfect. How do I check for level on the trailer? Place a level on the floor inside? Place a level on the a-frame at the front? Place a level in the fridge? Place a level on the rub strip on the outside?. Where is the best place to check for level?

This, like everything else, will draw different opinions.
I like to use the floor of the trailer.

The level is never set to the trailer being level.
It is "always" set to match the level of the freezer plate in the reefer.
That is the most important thing to level, not the trailer.
The hotter the ambient temperature, the more accurate the leveling must be for the reefer freezer plate, which is the shelf.

You should use the floor of the freezer. RV refers have to be level to function, especially the older units. As far as I know, this is the process which A$ uses when they install the levels at the factory.

these work well, BUT, not UV friendly, cover it when not using your rig, it might last more than 2 years if you do. just my experience.

Got curious, so I went out and checked....the floor and the floor of the freezer are the same, at least in our trailer.

For single door reefers, the leveling area is the floor of the freezer.
For double door units, the freezer shelf is the leveling area, since that's where the coil is located.
