Need Replacement Windows

I am restoring a '76 Airstream Sovereign, 31' long. I need to replace 3 window frames (31" wide) on the curbside. I would prefer used frames. If they are not available I would prefer used windows.

Can you recommend some sources?

Thanks, Eric

I'd try Andy@Inland RV or Out of Doors mart.

Howdy Eric, and welcome to Airforums.com! Say, we share the last name, and I have a brother with your given name. Does that make us family!?

Another place to try might be Colaw's RV Salvage. As their name implies, they are a wrecker of all brands of trailers, so might have them in stock.

A window "frame" is riveted to the shell.

The metal part around the glass is called a "sash"

An opening window is a sash and glass.

What is it you need?

Have you tried the second place mentioned in post #2?

There is nothing wrong with your double pane opening windows.

What the bubbles are from, is a film that is on the inside of the outside glass.

The windows can be taken apart, remove the film, reassemble the windows and then reinstall them.

Most owners have chosen to do that repair themselves.

The stack and vista view windows is another story. Some people break away the interior glass, then remove the film, and then have a beer.

We recommend the beer, but not the breaking of the glass.

Eric, Try RVRevive.com for the phone number and ask for Ryan. They are located in Waterloo, Iowa and stock parts removed from damaged trailers. Tell him I refered you if you like. Hope this helps, Ed

I am going to guess that since he first posted this question back in early September last year, he found what he needed to know...
