Need early 70s "Land Yacht" side emblem

Anyone have or know of any leads to locate this thing? The one on the other side fell off. I've been scouring the internet for a year and have zilch. I'd like an original one, and not have to resort to CNCing it. Please help!

Thanks

I have still not located one. I might have this one remanufactured, and if I do I'll make up several of them.

Did you try Colaws Salvage in Missouri? They have trailers they part out and are on line. Worth a try...

Need one also. Contacted a casting company just waiting for the call back. If it to much I think I might just resort to 3d printing or cnc.

My mechanical engineer brother is in the process of re-manufacturing one for me, and once the prototype is approved (by me), I can make up a few to pass on to you guys. I don't have a time frame for sure, but when I do I'll reply to this thread and let y'all know.

Casting company too much for setup. So I've taken the last one off and sent it to my Inlaw who runs a machine shop. His est is 2 weeks to machine a couple. Well, at least that's the time line I gave him.

Looks pretty close to what my brother is doing up for me. I plan to glass-bead-blast the inside of the lettering to remove the machining marks and more closely approximate the original sand cast pieces.

It will shine up nice! I flooded ours with paint. Looks real nice on the trailer with olympic rivets. I think they will hold better than the pop rivets.

Those look great! What did you use for paint?

I might take mine off and restore them...wondering how/what to polish them up with. I always wondered if the faded red paint in the border was original.

I polished with White clay bar, then with Red Clay and finally with mothers. The paint was Rustoleum sprayed in the cap, soaked a soft bristol brush and flooded it several times. You can still see some etching but then again, I'm content! :-)
