Linex over Filaform Corrosion

I have a 25ft 2005 Flying Cloud, it has Filaform corrosion on the front nose under the windows below the seam just above the rock guards. I realize there is no fix for this except skin replacement. My thought was to have a nice job of Linex coated on the front of the Airstream below the windows, under the rock guards and have it transition downward. The corrosion looks like crap. Anyone heard of Linex being put on the outside of the trailer? Will it adhere to Aluminum? Please no comments on the looks or possible bad looks. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
